Both are amazing...but both are just so...different entirely different,the stories,the plots,the characters everything is hard to even begin comparing,loved watching Dragon Ball Z,used to watch it all the time when I was young,but Angel Beats was just so emotional..actually it's really hard to pick for me but I'll choose Angel Beats but only by a little bit.
it's hard to compare a very long series to a very short series. dbz has its ups and downs over it course, while Angel Beats had its quaint little story to tell and that's that. i'll have to say DBZ cause it was worth watching saga after saga.
