What's AIR about anyway?

AIR TV is about a traveling puppeteer named Yukito who is searching for "the girl in the sky" or the girl mentioned in the fairytale that his mother used to tell him when he was little. One day, he comes upon a peculiar girl named Misuzu Kamio (the girl pictured) and she and her "mother" have him stay with him as he meets new people in the village they live in. There is more to the story which involves reincarnations and beings created by one's minds but it is still worth the watch. It is twelve episodes long (fifteen if you include the recap episode and the two AIR in Summer OVAs) and a movie adaptation if you are interested in viewing the series. :)

It is quite interesting. Well, I think CLANNAD is pretty heartbreaking too but AIR caused me to cry in every episode of the series. It was the first KEY anime I ever saw and it remains as the saddest and favorite from KEY in my heart. :)
