Anime Question

How do you deal with "too much anime, not enough time to watch it"?

I started buying only the first DVD of each series (and every 1st volume i could find) and then if I wanted to watch the whole series, I'd rent the other DVDs on Netflix. I think the first few episodes of any anime are the best, as they set up the unique premise of the series. So, I've seen a ton of different anime and am familiar with them, but have actually finished relatively few anime.

Eh I have alot of interests (video games, comics, webcomics, novels, movies, visual novels, etc) of more than just anime so my problem is an increased variation of your problem and my solution is to just make time for some of them or if you can't do that do a process of elimination and watch the ones you really want to watch and just hold the others for later. That's pretty much how I do it.

ha, i was doing pretty good at keeping my obsessions well balanced. reading american comics and playing video games at least. and then i found fanpop and it's been mostly just anime now.

I have that same problem where all only watch the 1st episode of an anime or read the book of a manga. I usually just try to make a schedule in my head for what I what I have time to do when, while I wait for an episode of anime to load I read manga, I can listen to vocaloids and read manga at the same time to. so I try to multitask and usually try to balance 2 animes and 1 manga + shows like Dr.Who so I try to make some sort of schedule, like I said. since Doctor who episodes are long I watch those on the weekend. on weekdays I watch anime cause those episodes are shorter and I read manga while those load or just in whatever free time I'm on the computer. Turns out my school hasn't blocked the manga sites on the internet so one day I got bored so I read manga in English class cause I finished my report XD

yeah, isn't it great that anime episodes are so short? i live close enough to work that i can go home over lunch break and watch an episode. that routine really helps me finish anime series.

ah, anime night, sounds nice. when i was in college, every Tuesday was anime night at my club. didn't own a tv, so never watched any at any other time (though i did read manga and fan fiction), but i suppose that was for the best.

I generally do have the problem where i dont have enough time.
Which is one of the reasons i never get enough sleep...

But i dont usually start something and never finish it unless its really bad.
Just cause i feel like if i dont finish the whole thing it doesnt actually count or something like that.

that's cool, never start anything you can't finish, good principles to live by.

Yea lol if i could follow that principal for various other things in life it would be great XD Unfortunately it currently only pertains to my anime watching schedule... lol i should work of that.

For me I always usually watch what I can on the laptop xD,I also use the crunchyroll app on my Phone and iPad (when I have time which is helpful for me),I also watch anime other sites on the iPad/Phone which takes a burden off me but then if I find a screencap I like then there's one but I've seen tons and tons of anime but I haven't finished many yet..even though I just finished Oreimo and as soon as I finished it I re-watched a number of episodes of it.
