I haven't seen 'Lovely Complex' nor 'Kimi ni Todoke' so I don't know if they're similar to OHSHC and I think this anime has about 26 episode or something

Special A. is only 26 episodes but its still a really good anime :) and Gakuen Alice is good too! Its 26 episodes so if you watch them both.. it makes 52 episodes :D

shugo chara is cute romantic comedy anime/manga.
It's nor really similar to lovely complex or ki mi ni todoke
but it's good anime/manga.

Nyan Koi is actually a very good one. It's short though, but really is worth a watch! It does have a tiny bit of perverted humor as well, but not that much.
It's about a boy who's allergic to cats having to please a cat god while still trying to get a girl to go out with him. I highly recommend it!

You should try watching Air it has a very touching story line though.

One I particularly enjoy is Nisekoi. It's still going on as of now, but it's scheduled for twenty episodes.

Hataraku Maou-sama, maybe? It's pretty romantic... it's DEFINITELY comedy. The style of drawing isn't old, don't worry about that. However, I've never watched/read Lovely Complex of Kimi ni Todoke, so I can't confirm it's similarity to those two.

PLOT:

ive actually never watched or read lovely complex or kimi ni todoke so i dont know what theyre like BUT

kotoura-san is a really original romcom anime thats only 12 episodes (i think; im horrible with anime lengths)

its about a girl who's been bullied and ridiculed all her life and was kicked out of her family because she could read minds. she didnt have any kind of filter for what she found, and people marked her up as an untrustable person because of that. and then she goes to a high school and comedy and romance happens did we expect anything else

still the mind reading makes it really fun and i like it

It has only two twelve-episode seasons, but you should really watch Love, Chunibyo, and Other Delusions. I haven't watched many romance anime, but this is a really good show.

There are also quite a few recent ones that I don't think were listed, but those are easy to find.

I've watched both. Lovely complex isn't a harem or anything just two people falling in love. Toradora is like that and is very funny. The only difference is that Toradora has situational humor while lovely complex is more of a comedic moments kind of anime. I think you'll like it anyway. The same writer that wrote Toradora also wrote a light novel called Golden Time which is also an anime. Both have similar types of comedy but very unique stories. If you watch and like Toradora then you will probably like Golden Time

Kimi Ni Todoke which has 2 seasons, first season has 24 episodes If i'm not mistaken and 2nd season has 13 episodes which has 37 episodes in total.
Yumeiro Patissiere is a really really good anime too! Though their relationship isn't that revealed on the first season because they just opened up with each other on the last episode of the 1st season. It has 2 seasons, the first one has 50 episodes while the second has 13!
Gakuen Alice is good too! it has 26 episodes
Kaichou wa Maid Sama is one of the animes that you should watch if you still haven't. It really focuses on their love story :))

This anime is called Wolf Girl and Black Prince it doesn't have as many episodes as lovely complex or kimi no todoke but its similar I highly recommend this.

Well i like alot of animes but my favourite ones are Ashita no Nadja, Ufo baby or daa daa daa, Kamichama Karin, Gakuen Alice(which has 24 episodes i think) and Yumeiro Patissiere those are my top 5

i like this one a a lot its really funny yet it can be serious which is good. Yumeiro Patissiere the romantic part comes a little later but its a really good show also one more show. kamisama kiss

Say I Love You - Its not very long but it is amazing. It similar to kimi ni todoke. This is a MUST watch. It starts off with a really shy and unsocial girl and then theres a guy. JUST WATCH IT

Though I hope you like my recommendations:
1.Ao Haru Ride..in this there's a girl who wants to change her reputation because of her past and she also liked a guy in middle school who comes back in the same college as her

2.Sword art Online...Most people go for rom com animes and not fighting ones but this anime is different.why? because in this anime you have to fight to survive and people are stuck inside a game and so the story develops though it continues even when they get out...beware there is a few perverted scenes...

3.Kaichou wa maid sama:This anime you've maybe heard alot and you will so on though it is a rom com and it's story develops as you keep watching(they don't tell it all at once) This anime has 20 something episodes but it's worth watching....Misaki is a maid and a kaichou at school (president) though noone at school (boys school who randomly started accepting females) knows she's a maid until one day usui (another one of the badass mysterious though romantic dudes you always find in some anime) finds out.

4.Kamisama Kiss...Idk why i forgot to add this ;-;....In this anime a girl named Nanami is kicked out of her own house due to her fathers left debt(who was recently a gambler).She finds a mysterious stranger in the park who happens to be a god of a local shrine (sorry for the spoilers :I ). He kisses her on the forehead ,she becomes the godess of the shrine as it was his plan to retire from being a god....She then meets a fox familiar Tomoe (they call it familiar aka a slave) who happens to reject being a familiar of a mere mortal...after this it starts to get more funny and intense (intense because she has to fulfil her duties and also she is going to get killed if she roams around anywhere...)
