His dad left when he was young, his mom died, he lost his arm, leg, and little brother's body, he had to spend a year recovering from getting automail, and then he burns down his house.

My answer is Teito Klein from 07-Ghost.
He was The Ragg's Prince, but since the Raggs kingdom had been taken down, He was raised by the military as their Slave. Teito Has the long lost Michael's eye that the Barsburg Empire had been searching for. He was also the Pandora's Box, a Box that keeps Verloren's body. Teito, at the Military was having a hard time. He's been bullied by other students, and only Mikage would want to be his friend and protect him.
Teito finally decided to leave the Military. He stole a Hawkzile and made it to the Barsburg Church. He was rescued by three bishops, that is Frau, Castor, and Labrador. After a few days in the church, he met Mikage. One day, Mikage turned into a half kor, that was possessed by Ayanami. Teito had no other choice but to Kill him. Mikage then Reincarnated as a Baby Fyulong Dragon, or else known as a "Burupya". Then Teito met Hakuren and took the bishop exam, and to travel to the "Land of Seele".

Well, i hope it's the right answer because his hard time was when he was a slave.

Absolutely Alois Trancy. I feel sorry for this poor kid. At the age of 7 he was kidnapped to be a worker at a village. When we got a few years older (10-12 I think) He was forced to be some Prostitute for some Old Man. Then, His brother dies. But The next thing you know a few years later he dies. Why does he die? SPOLER: Because His own loving Butler who he cared for and loved so much killed him. That is his whole 14 or 16 year old life. I feel so bad for him.

Honestly, I think he deserved a happier life.

Ganta Igarashi was framed for killing all his class mates and then he was put into a prison force to fight other people.

shawn's life is hard. when he was young, he and his family were going home in their car. suddenly alott of snow fell from a big mountain and shawn was pushed out of the car, but his family and his brother died, the mountain crashed on them. and now shawn's brother's soul lives inside him! ... then shawn is chosen as the striker for the team. and actually his brother is the striker, it's veryhard for shawn to control himself, his brother comes out when has to make a goal. it's hard to control a body with two souls!!!

Hitsugaya Toushirou's life aint that hard now. but since he's a shinigami he faces difficulties all the time.
his life used to be very hard though...

he was being rejected by kids when he was little because he has white hair & turqoise eyes. so he got a rather cold peronality.

anyway, he made a friend in Soul Academy.
they were very close. but they obtained the same power, which wasn't allowed. so they had to fight in order to decide who would be the wielder of Hyourinmaru (the zanpakuto=a sword with a soul born with the wielder. they also die together. once the wielder learns the name they can grow stronger together. they r used as reflections of the shinigami's heart in battle. the power depends on the wielder).

Hitsugaya tried to abandon Hyourinmaru but he had no choice. they were thrown into battle.
Hitsugaya was the chosen one & he watched as his friend was killed right before his eyes.

many years later Kusaka (his friend) comes back. he was resurrected in Hueco Mundo (another dimension). but he is planning on destroying Seireitei. Hitsugaya has to fight his friend again & this time he kills Kusaka with his own hands.

he grew up with Hinamori & she means a lot to him.
Aizen nearly killed Hinamori & later Aizen made everyone think Hinamori was Aizen. (the power of his zanpakuto is complete hypnosis) Hitsugaya stabbed her & nearly killed her himself.

in his case, things just get better just to get worse again. no matter how much time passes he will always have a dark past & regret things he can never forgive himself for.

i would say his life is pretty hard...

Vegeta, from DragonBallZ. he was the prince of his planet, then some lizard blew it up, killing his father and all his people, then he was kidnapped, forced to be a slave for him, until he was murdered by said ruler. In the end, he came back, and his past was forgotten, having two children in the end.

Her life wasn't easy with her parents fighting all the time and they were so animated and she could never get out of her house she had nowhere to go all she could do was go in a corner until one day where her father went too far and ended up taking his anger out on her and then she discovered music which seemed to change her entire world.

Kino from Kino no Tabi/Kino's Journey.

She's rocking the androgynous Ciel Phantomhive / Haruhi Fujioka look, which seems to be a trend among emotionally bankrupt characters. She's so masculine that we literally had to be told that she was a girl, & even then it's easy to forget (especially since it's rarely if ever brought up again).

Okay, so according to the only volume of the novel that got translated, she was cast out of her own village for breaking the rules. It was a strict village where you took on the job your parents had, no questions asked, & outsiders were very unwelcomed. A stranger came & the villagers believe his outside ways had corrupted Kino's mind, her own life was at risk when she tried to save his life, her parents essentially disowned her & she was chased away from her home. She took on the name of the stranger & his talking bike Hermes, whom is her only friend.

She's traveling through some kind of weird steampunk world where each town seems to be more f**ked up than the last. She has to carry a gun on her person at all times & often bears witness to murders & natural disasters. She's jobless & homeless & usually lives off the land, so if she has a roof over her head, it's from a charitable stranger, as she cannot afford hotels.

The anime didn't really have a proper ending (it's not supposed to, as we know she will continue her journey & never settle down) & then the series, serious as it was, was given a parody spinoff in bad taste called Gakuen Kino, where I can only assume that everything that made Kino no Tabi good & made Kino Kino was tossed out the window.

I suppose Trunks. All his friends and his mentor (Gohan) were killed by murderous androids that pretty much f***ed his planet.

Kagura from Ga-Rei: Zero. Her mom died when she was younger (3 years younger from most of the events in the anime. 5 years in manga I think). Then her dad sent her off to some (then) stranger's house. And finally after her most important person went through a coma and lost all movement and voice that person became possessed and Kagura was forced to kill the only person that had ever been most important to her....after that person killed her (Kagura's) father because they were possessed ._. That sucks, right? Lol

orihime inoue had an abhorrently avaricious life :)

Anyone in Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni had a hard life through out the series in my opinion.

Oh well, but he's bullied throughout his childhood due to him being able to see youkai. The other kids didn't believe him when he'd say he could see them, and called him a liar. They also spread rumours about him.

He had no parents and his relatives would transfer him to other houses a lot.

In one of the episodes (SPOILERS!) he meets a boy he used to know in elementary school and the boy threatens to reveal his secret.

That's all I got, I'm not really good at this stuff.. But he's had a pretty hard life (and in his present life as well, kind of)

Pretty much the entire cast of Meganebu! had some kind of sad past, or are currently being bullied by the other members (Hayato)

This anime is not famous and I believe it's underrated.
This Character had a happy childhood, however, his life got distroyed cruelly right at the beginning of the series. In fact, he struggles through the entire series, right until the end, for a bright future. This character himself can never live a better life for reasons, but he definately accomplished something really big during the episodes. He is a truly memorable character and had great influence to me personally.
I tried not to spoil anything, since this anime is HIGHLY requested to watch. It shows the brutality of the human being and how wrong we could be.

When he was a baby, his whole clan was slaughtered (granted, they were a bunch of murdering bandits), and was almost killed, but was spared due to the fact that he was only an infant. He was raised in the DWMA mostly by Sid, and never had many friends and most people didn't pay attention to him (which is why he acts so...you know. Black Star), and was often feared and mocked almost anywhere he went because of his star tattoo.
