Anime Question

Anime where the violence was toned down from the manga.

Hunter x Hunter & Yugioh.

In the reboot of the old Hunter x Hunter anime, Killua is holding a sack containing the heart. There's no blood on his hand, the bag, or the chest of the guy he tore it out of Mola Ram style. They also really cut back on all of Hisoka's many decapitations. I can't wait to see how they handle Kait & Pokkle's gruesome deaths in the Chimaera Ant Arc.

The original Yugioh manga is just glorious. By book 3, Atem had already killed half of the people who played his games & had set at least 5 people on fire, electrocuted another 3, & blew one up. Shadi murdered one guy & almost got another 4 people killed. Mokuba threatened Yuugi with a knife.

well the only one i can think of off the top of my head is
Dogs Bullets & Carnage, it has OVA's but i barely made it through the 1st one it was so lame. Its was like they took something rated R an made it more like PG, kinda sucks when that happens :( Oh yeah an Trinity Blood is another, actually it got tamer as it went from novel to manga to anime XD although surprisingly enough i like all versions.

In the Naruto manga, Zabuza took Gato's head away.
In the anime, he stabbed and slashed him several times before making him fall from the bridge.

Well, in Blue Exorcist, there's a lot more blood in the manga and Amaimon isn't nearly as violent in the anime as he is in the manga. And a few things seemed to have been "censored", like having Amaimon chew on his nail instead of biting his thumb to make it bleed, or smiling as he gets beat up...guess they didn't want to teach younger viewers to enjoy pain or something. :P
And Mephisto can be way more twisted in the manga...
And did I mention all the blood?
The anime also seems more... "family friendly", I guess.
(and there's also way more sexual themes and Mephisto is a little...iffy...okay, he can be a pervert)
