Lucy from Elfen Lied. Her backstory always makes me cry. She got bullied as a child for her horns, her only friends betrayed her and killed her puppy, and the boy she had a crush on lied to her. She got locked away in a facility where she was experamented on and not treated like a human being.

Yurippe from Angel Beats because her past was just awful.. well what had happened anyway with all her siblings getting slaughtered and thinking it was her fault thats just so sad... :c

Alois Trancy. That kid had a tragic past. I don't like him, but I feel sorry for him.

Hmm..I'd have to go with Paninya-chan from Fullmetal Alchemist,why? her past both in the original FMA and FMA Brotherhood made me bawl anyhoo..She was in a train accident both her parents passed in that accident and both her legs ended having to be replaced with automail..it was awfully sad to hear for me.

She and the other children were tortured and abused by the owners and when they tried to escape they were punished. She was able to contact Mifume Takano, her father's teacher and was adopted by him. Her grandfather was set on the goal of proving that the Hinamiyzawa syndrome was real but his colleagues called him crazy, breaking his heart. Takano wanted to avenge him but ended up loosing herself to her insanity instead.
