How is the anime durarara?

Ok. I'm going to start watching this anime so, before I watch it I wanna see what everyone thinks of it. Also, who everyone's favorite character is and why. :3

I absolutely adore Durarara!! It's a marvelous anime that many would say is a bit slow pace but the pace does not make the anime any less great then it already is. It has a well thought out plot and the characters are an entire show of their own. I suggest after watching Durarara!! watch Bacanno. My favorite characters are Shizuo because he's a freakin BAMF and Iyaza because he is Trollzaya.
