Well To Me Not Everything can capture ones interest at first (some are faster to like a certain anime than others-but that also depends on the anime and the person of course!) I think you should give D.N. a few more episodes (because I really thought it was a great anime series and it definitely is worth it well in my eyes anyway) I think you should do what you feel is right if you want to watch more great! if you want to give the anime a rest for a while and then go back to it..or maybe try it in a different language (that sometimes works for me when it comes to situations like that),so the choice is really up to you in this situation.

I really like Death Note, but its not for everyone. If you are not into violence or intense killings this is not the anime for you. The killings and violence get pretty graphic, however the story is amazing. So if you don't mind what I mentioned above do yourself a favor and watch. Death Note is truly one of the best animes ever.
