What was the saddest anime death you've ever seen? *NOTE* These will probably all be spoilers.

When L from Death Note Died. I was actually on Light's side. But when L died, i hated Light and I didn't want to watch Death Note any more. But in the end I still continued to watch it.

KAGURA'S DEATH (from Inuyasha)

WOW!! that was really sad for two reasons:
The first that she was my totally favorite character and you can probably imagine how it feels to lose your fav one. She was awesome, I liked every single stroke of her and her personality was stunning.
The second one, because of the circumstances of her death. She loved Sesshomaru though she didn't actually have a heart and finally he came to see her, he told her with clear words that he came to see her not Naraku. In some ways she died happy. Naraku was so cruel to have finally given her heart back to her, and inmediately have poisoned her. At last she had her beloved and desired freedom.

i cried so hard when kikyo died for good.

I was pretty sad when kikyou from inuyasha died

Sakura was accidentally stabbed by syaoran... they were actually in love... I cried a lot that day...

the ending of the anime romeo and juliet was realy sad.....i nearly cried...i especialy like wat he said jst b4 he died,''i am hapy 2 have lived in a place wit u in it''...

I don't watch anime where people die a lot... I usually just say Kyoko Honda from Fruits Basket. Her death touched me :')

BUT, if it counts, there is a Vocaloid song I quite love called Servant of Evil, or Aku no Meshitsukai.

And in the end, Len dies.

When Alois (Kuroshitsuji) died, I felt completely heartbroken. I mean, Alois needs more love and..... :'(

When Nephrite died in Naru's arms in Sailor Moon :'(
I was crying when I saw that, I'm still sad :'(

nagisa furukawa from clannad and clannad after story :' ( s-she got sick then she had her baby and she d-died while Okazaki was holding her hand and she already always got sick because she was weak and it was so sad!

Oh god, I'm tied between these 2 deaths.

Shirley from Code Geass. I couldn't stop crying because she was saying to Lelouch that she kept falling in love with him. And you can see the desesperation, horror and sadness in Lelouch's face. So desperate, he used the geass so she wouldn't die.

The other death is Chiriko from Fushigi Yuugi. It makes me cry a lot because he sacrificed himself to save the others. And he was only a kid. Besides the music they put when he's dying makes it more sad (Its called "Akai Iitsutae").

Uni and Gamma

Besides Nagisa from Clannad After story, which I had to curl up into a ball and sob for an hour for, I think that Hige and Blue's death was one of the saddest scenes out there.

I was really sad when Deidara off of naruto died iwas crying like heck,and was really mad at sasuke but i was also happy because he was with Sasori once more in the afterlife.

No way the saddest anime death is Ushio from Clannad After story. I could stop crying besides wats worse than losing ur kid and wife within 5 years and there isn't anything u can do about it.

Minato's and Kushina's death is the most sad death for me. I cried alot is very beautifull how they decide to give there lives from his son.I love them!

I cried SO much when Lisanna *died* Of course I was happy and cried (again) when they reunited ^_^

By far the saddest death was when Rollo died in Code geass because he finally knew what it meant to care about someone and died for his brother Lelouch. i cried so hard when he died.

I think the saddest death ive seen is Ai and Marco's death in Mirai Nikki

I would definitely say Mine's death from Akame ga kill!

Fire Fist Ace's Death (One Piece)

Mikoto's death. I cried hard at this scene :(

Jiraiya's death because he was a great ninja,one of the three sannin and a person in Narutos life that ment alot to him and taught him almost everything he knows. He had left the villiage knowing that he was going to die while on this mission. He took down two of the six paths, which soon afterwards were ressurected and was attacked by the six paths of pain at once. He had his throat crushed, was stabbed in the back with swords and still managed to put a code that was to get back to the village on the back of a frog that had pains (nagatos) true location. After that, they noticed he was still living and one of the paths came down and basically hit him with a death punch sending him down into the ocean to drown. While he is floating to the bottom he is reminising of times with tsunade amd how he couldnt win her heart and the great studentnaruto had become amd how he wish he could have done more (even though hes already done alot) also revealing in a flashback that minato had decided to name his son naruto after one of the characters in jiraiyas books and also is declared godfather of naruto. As he is sinking to the bottom of the ocean he ends the capter of jiraiya yhe gallant and says the title for the next chapter which is "the tale of naruto uzumaki." Not to mention that one of his students killed him. Nagato has control over all of the pains, aswell as yahikos body even though he died many years ago. Pervy sage was a great ninja in the show and a very lovable character. He died in such a brutal way which i thought he would have made it out alive tbh. Another thing is that nobody knew or a little while that he was even dead. I cried very hard when i first watched the episode. It really was such a shock.

Two for me; the Inner and Outer Senshi dying in seasons one and five of Sailor Moon, and Crystal Saint's death in Saint Seiya. :'(

One of the saddest for me was Airi Yūnami's death in the Qualidea Code anime.
She ended her life at the hands of Maihime(Who viewed Ai as a motherly figure) to prevent the war with the Unknown(Her race) from continuing.
