Anime Question

Im up to episode 148 of naruto, should I keep watching or skip to Shippuden?

I heard that after episode 141 that you can just skip to shippuden because the rest are fillers. If I do this will I miss out on too much?

There isn't much of anything else.
It's all just unimportant fillers.

You should probably skip to shippuden.
