I can see you already know Furuba and Ouran, so I'll list a few I love:

-Soul Eater: 51 episodes, I don't believe there are any OVAs. There is going to be a second season, although it will be a redo of the first that sticks closer to the manga. 13+ anime, 16+ manga
-Black Butler (also known as Kuroshitsuji): 24 episodes season 1, 12 or 13 season 2. There are several Kuroshitsuji OVAs. 13+ anime, 16+ manga
-Hetalia: 78 5-minute-long episodes, 1 OVA. Rated MA.
-Baka to Test to Shokanjuu (in English, Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts): 13 episodes season 1, 13 episodes season 2. I don't believe there are any OVAs. 13+ anime, but don't let the rating fool you.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, of course. It's my favorite of all time and it is only 12 episodes long. That, or Ano Hana.

Pretear is amazing, and if you like shoujo ai, check out Strawberry Panic! Shugo Chara! has about 114 eps, and FullMetal Alchemist has about 50 if you don't count Brotherhood. Lucky Star rocks, and Haruhi Suzumiya is really good too.
