Does she have a real personality, you know with traits,flaws and boundaries? meh just traits, she is nice,thoughtful,smart,kind,honest,warm-hearted,selfless, elegant, hard-working, caring, playful, and pretty much any other strengths, you can think up in your head.

Is her design simple? Nah, actually it's pretty complex. She's often called the most gorgeous girl in school.Along with her brainless background characters gashing and falling for her, more the the other girls.

Can she hold her own sometimes but, still needs help sometimes? Nope, she needs constant help from everyone else, including Inner Moka, who's constantly saving people but, Outer Moka gets more love and most of the credit. since almost everyone thinks they are one in the same.

Yep, totally a marry-sue! sure there are other trails but, I'm pretty sure what the result is going to be so....

Asuna Yuuki from Sword Art Online. She is not that great of a character at all. She is the strongest character in the game yet she does crap and gets weaker. And I don't like that she married Kirito. It should have been Lizbeth and him.
She gets kidnapped by some guy and she doesn't save herself. She expects kirito too. She constantly gets all of the attention. She hit kirito for no reason in one episode. I hope they get rid of her later in the show. She is a bad character and the worse type of Modern Sues you can find

Takumi Usui from Maid Sama. He's handsome, athletic, can cook, plays the violin, unbeatable at chess and beach volleyball and has harems of women and men chasing him....
Too bad Misaki doesn't care. To her he's just a "twisted alien."

Kirito from sword art online is this in the games he plays....in real life...well there's a reason he loves games

I mean, she's a former military soldier who can kill about anybody in a moments notice, she has a tragic backstory, she's rather great at her job , and she's extremely beautiful.

well how bout invader lum? she beautiful of course! she even has her own body guards and gets all the boys attention. she has power. she can shoot lightning at ataru. she pretty smart. i wouldnt say she has a tragic past. and she can rock a tiger skin bikini. but in this pic shes not wearing it. she also has her little cousin ten follow her around everywhere! like my user name says it all: lum forever!

So I would stay that my Marty-Stu would be the Pharaoh Atem. So he's handsome, he's got control/king of the shadow realm, he's smart enough to out wit his enemies, definitely has a tragic past with the whole spirit in a 5,000 year old item, and of course he has a fan club... I mean his is somewhat a celebrity. (even if he is using Yugi's body)
That's also my reasoning as to why I love Yugi tons more... there is nothing better than a flawed character!

I'm going with Saya Takagi.

Saya is pretty (in its sense), considered a genius, has a famous and rich family, and is very clever and able to hold her own in itself.
Personally, I think she's a Mary Sue, but her somewhat stubborn and arrogant personality could tell people otherwise.

I hate it when people call characters that, it's an overrated thing to call anybody. But if that's what Mary-Sue means. Then all the best characters in shows are like that! So what if a character is perfect, beautiful, or has a tragic story. That is what makes them a wonderful character. It's better then being a boring jerk character with no personality.

Syaoran from tsubasa

Kenshin Himura for me. He has the looks, intellect, unbelievable talent in handling a sword and a tragic/mysterious past. It fits him perfectly. ;]

Smart, intellegent, cool, guenuis, strong, and a prodigy

Cossette D'Avenue, look her up and read her past, it is very tragic. she is from the Anime series "Le portrait de petit Cossette."

Tohru Honda...but I still like her.

Edward Elric is pretty much a Gary-stu XD
He's still my fave anime character though :)
Tragic past? Check.
Tragic family death? Check.
Dis-figuration that makes him more attractive(the automail)? Check.
Chick magnet? LOL no -.-; he's a midget jerk.
Ends up with a beautiful love interest? Check.

Not to mention he is the YOUNGEST STATE ALCHEMIST, and he ended up being the biggest Hero in Promised Day, without his contribution all of the people in his country would have died.
and I mean look at him, HE'S PRETTAY~ only he's short...and a pretty big jerk/dunce.
Meh still a Mary-Sue.

Oh yeah forgot to mention, this is manga/brotherhood based XD in the original anime it's almost the same except he doesn't end up with a "beautiful love interest" :/

Masaya Aoyama from Tokyo Mew Mew.
He's stunningly handsome, captain of the kendo club, righteous, is devoted to his true love, can transform into a knight that was born from his wish to protect the main character, loves the environment, is the heartthrob of the entire school, and turns out to be the main bad guy's extra persona for when he was gaining power. He has no bad qualities.
In other words, he sucks.

Erza Scarlet. Yes, I still really like her, but she is kinda a Mary Sue.

A power that not many people can master? YES.

i have 3 because they're so BORING. Chi from BroCon, she literally has the personality of a cereal box, just to sway guys affections and morals. Esther from Trinity Blood, she's is the reason everything went into "chaos" in the end. You guys know what's next, Kagome, paint drying is more interesting than her, everything would've been easier if someone said "Pick up an arrow and shoot", even when she's at fault people say " InuYasha apologize" no, she's being a brat

She is a gamer girl who somehow manages to pretty much single-handedly make everyone get along. Everyone says she should be class rep without even considering anyone else. When she dies, the entire rest of her class turn to despair and DESTROY THE WORLD because they miss her or some other bull. She is shown as flawless, beautiful and perfect, and I hate every pretty little inch of her.
