The Revolution War, in Hetalia it had a bit different perspective... if you hadn't seen this show, you should. This episode was the most popular one, and the most serious one. I shall give you details as to why.
America, the new world, was Britains most treasured and prized little brother, hes the one on the left, when he was a little boy he looked up to Britain, he treasured Britain as the only big brother and savior he had ever had. Their bond was strong, when England left, America would be so scared... so alone... and England, he was a super power of the world at the time and constantly working and in battles, but whenever the two were reunited, all the previous sadness and stress melted away and enjoyed all the time they had together which seemed to be never enough.
But when America grew up... he wanted Independence, to not be pushed around, to not have to be told what to do, and to do what was best for his self, and his people. And England, the right of course, would not stand for it! He wouldn't give up without a fight, that is the Revolutionary War, but on in July of 76, the Great United Kingdom had his rifle pointed at his Colony, his younger brother, the sweet Lad America. He had gotten rid of Americas and now had the perfect shot.
...But he couldn't. He fell to his knees, throwing his rifle down, he fell into tears. Thinking of his sweet little America, and America looked down at him, with such pity.
"Why... damn why?!" Was what the oh so proud, strong and great United Kingdom said through his tears. And the last thing America said as his colony, in such a distant tone thinking of his big brother and how he used to look up at him...
"You used to be...so big." And thats what broke their bond. Thats what broke them free. That is what broke ME, myself into tears! Sorry for such a long response, but... I mean you HAVE to know for this pic to be sad T3T so ya... USUK xD
