It actually took me a second to decipher what you meant... "He only got there first because he went on Haru's back. What a meanie." That wasn't Yuki, that was the rat, who Yuki happens to be possessed by. Haru isn't stupid because the rat used him, Kyo isn't a fool because the cat tricked him, and Yuki isn't mean because the rat was. And if you recall the legend was completely altered at the end and THAT NEVAH HAPPENED.
