He is your brother, not your mother. If you want to watch anime, then It's your choice, not his.
Also, whos name is the internet under? If It's under your parents name, then he cannot disconnect it, unless he meddles around with your computer, or steals your Internet cable if you use one. Or sets a password on it.
I'm 23, and watch anime. There are people even older than myself that also watch it. Anime is for all ages of people. Prehaps if he sat down, and actually watched a series, he might like it. What's not to like? Cute characters, good story lines, good plots, and of course the fan service <3
Also, I saw someone make a statement that cartoons are childish, but anime isn't. There are plenty of cartoons that I still like, that I will never grow out of because they were what I watched while growing up. Cartoons like Tom and jerry, Dexters laboratory, Pinky and the brain, Angry beavers, and more.
Another suggestion: Save up some money, and buy the dvds. Sure, they can cost a bit. But it is nice to have anime things <3
One last thing, It's not the things you watch, or personal hobbies that makes you either an immature, or mature person. It's the way handle things in life, and the way you treat other people. If he himself really is a mature person, he would atleast hear what you have to say on the matter, instead of blocking his ears, and looking the other way.
