Chapter Eight: 'What should we do?'

Skye looked up. Ferral was back from the docking area.
“What did they say, my friend?” Skye asked the swordsman.
“To sail anywhere it would cost us at least a hundred bronzes and at the most two hundred and fifty” Ferral replied testily.
“Bastards. I barely even have fifty platinums, enough, but still not enough to last me forever. How many do you have?” Skye enquired of Ferral. “About eighty platinum coins and a hundred bronzes. But we don't even know where we are going yet” Ferral growled.
“What should we do?” Skye asked the unanswered...

Day Four
A Stony Battle

The team had trekked across the arid, stony desert. They had coped quite well considering that they hadn’t eaten or drunk for at least nine hours.
The team of heroes were quite grumpy because of Doughty’s constant moaning of “Are we there yet?” They all saw a cave and decided to stop off and rest. The cave was quite cramped as it was made of just some rock slabs resting on each other. They sparingly ate as much food as they could and Theone restored everyone’s water containers with water.
