I felt bad about how I copped out on Katie with the Scoobies, so to pay her back for all her tremendous hard work, I decided to get the ball rolling on the Angel thing.

Pros and Cons about a Post-Scoobies Award Ceremony!

Pro: We've learned a lot from organizing the Scoobies, so we can work out the kinks with this show. We can make things more expedient and interesting, and help Katie and other organizers by adding KEY WORDED CONTENT. Go on now and add that, kiddos.

Con: The Scoobies was a big event on the Buffy spot, and it took some doing to dreg up some interest in it. Angel, being a smaller spot (grrr!) and coming in the wake of both the Scoobies AND FGT, might need even MORE advertising, as people will be burned out from all the events and stuff.

Pro: After we finish the Angel awards, all that's left is to have the winners of the Angel categories face off with the winners of the Scoobies categories to see which is really the ULTIMATE show! (Even though I think that votes will say the "ultimate show" is Buffy, I still think it would be fun). For example, we can have Anthony Stewart Head (beast actor-series) face off against the winner of the best actor-series of Angel!

Con: The Scoobies took a lot of work. This is gonna take, at the very least, the same amount of work. And I'm committed to not letting my responsibilities slide this time! (Which includes NOT saving vote counting until the last minute). Also, people have real lives, which can often conflict with their much more important online lives. Huh.

In short, this event is both good and bad (mostly good), just like Angel himself! So let's get the ball rolling with the simple start of NAMES.
