Do you think Amy saves the day too much, or is that cool?

The last 2 episodes (maybe the last 3 - we're up to episode 4) Amy has saved the day with the Doctors help. Do you think think kinda defeats the purpose of DOCTOR who? I like it but I think they should let the Doctor save the day a couple of times. Maybe they're leading up to somthing?... :)

I always thought she and the Doctor saved the day equally. It always seemed more like the Doctor was saving the day with her help (in the later episodes at least; I agree about the first three).
