“Alexis! It’s your turn now!”
I stand up and take the basketball from Taylor’s hand.
“Good luck,” Taylor mutters to me. “No one beats Morgan in knockout.”
It’s the day before Christmas Eve, and our parents agree that Taylor and Morgan can stay at my apartment today and tomorrow. And then we can meet again on Christmas. Morgan lives on the floor above me, and Taylor lives on the floor below me.
So we can basically meet anytime we want. Which is why I love living in an apartment.
Though it would still be nice to live in one of those big, neighborhood houses.
