Alice - Syfy Original Movie Question

What's your favourite moment of the movie?

Personally mine is the last thirty minutes, for two reasons. One, the kiss obviously (squee!!). Two, did you see Carol's face? I was in hysterics.

Same, my favourite is that last scene. From the moment her mom says that David was stopping by to see if she was alright I was saying "It's Hatter! It's gonna be Hatter!" and then she runs to him and they hug and he's like "Finally" and "I missed you" and then they kiss and the shot of them reflected in the hall of mirrors reflecting on the whole point of the miniseries, through the looking glass. And yes, her mom's face is priceless, it's like "you just met each other and now you're kissing?" lol, I drew a picture of that scene cos I loved it so much, it's on DeviantArt.com, search for Chazza071. :D

It's a kind of a heartbreaking moment, but it's still my favorite moment for a different reason. When Jack comes as the representative of the Resistance, and interrupts their kiss (AARRGH!), Hatter tries to reassure Alice that he'll be just fine on his own. He says "Are you kidding? I'll be fine!" and grins before turning his head away. That grin slays me every time. For that reason, it is my favorite moment. (Yeah, I know, I got it bad for Andrew Lee Potts.)

My other one is near the very end when Alice gives back the purple coat, and Hatter sort of halfheartedly protests, saying "Oh, you don't have to--Brilliant," wrinkling up his nose (which is an ADORABLE expression, by the way) and grinning, I love that exchange, because I read that Andrew-Lee Potts liked to ad-lib and I felt he was doing it here. "Brilliant" sounded so natural in his accent, and it didn't feel like something they would write in the dialogue for Hatter, it felt like something Andrew-Lee would say in a similar situation. I felt like he was really inhabitating the role here and saying what Hatter would say, without thinking about it. That's the mark of a good actor.
