Alice's P.O.V

Jasper, Emmett and I were in the living room. Emmett was watching sports, trying to ignore Jasper and I. "Love you," Jasper whispered. I smiled weakly. "Love you more," I replied. Jasper chuckled. He didn't exactly expect that, but I liked his reaction.

Life was now perfect. Jasper and I were living the life every vampire would love to have.

Emmett took his attention off the t.v and looked over at us. "Alice, when is Rosalie going to get down here?" Emmett asked, a little...

It had been a year.

Been a year since Jasper had returned to Alice.

Been a year since Alice had found out Jasper wasn't dead.

It had only taken five minutes to decide to run away. Run away from all the war, all the conflicts, all the confusion... just so they could be together, just them, forever.

But, of course, nothing lasts forever.

In their meadow, Jasper kissed her, tenderly, softly, as if it were their last kiss. He always kissed her that way. In case, one day, they really would never kiss again.

He grazed his hand along her collarbone and groaned. She smiled, leaned her forehead on his, and...

Watching Rosalie stress about her wedding, I'll admit, is pretty entertaining. As her bridesmaid, I shouldn't really be watching as much as helping, I know. Rosalie was determined to make this the best wedding yet. Yes. Yet - meaning there was more to come. Why does she get married so many times? Although it was entertaining me, I couldn't be more relieved when Jasper came to release me from Rosalie's critical eye. He popped his head in the door after knocking. Rosalie didn't seem to notice despite the knock and his scent entering the room. He smiled as Rosalie continued to fuss. I wasn't the...

Jasper’s POV

“Well, well, well here we are again” I hated that voice, Aro’s voice. It sent chills up my spine, it made me sick to my stomach, it didn’t help that he was eying my Alice.

“What do you want?” I growled, using all the venom I could muster.

“We have an offer to make you. Alice and Edward come with us, and in return we let your family live.”

“I’ll die before I let you take her.”

“Jasper” Alice said I could hear the sadness in her voice and it killed me.

“Very well then” and without another word Aro was at my throat. He had me pinned ready to bite, fangs dripping....

Jasper’s POV

She left, she left and she could be killed. How could she do this to me? I understand why she did it the first time; she was protecting me, but now it was like she thought I couldn’t protect her.

I didn’t bother to tell the others. I was already outside so I just followed their trail. Alice’s sent was most concentrated 50 miles east, they were just here, and I missed them. I kept running in that direction, but I lost the trail. She must have known I was coming. She was avoiding me.

I had no choice but to go back to the house. When I got back the whole family was in the living...

Alice’s POV
Later on that night, Jasper and I were sitting on our bed, him against the pillows and me in his lap, leaning against his strong, warm, chest. I wasn’t sure I could leave this behind, even temporarily. I mean Edward had a good plan, leave and no one else would get hurt. I just don’t know how I could walk out again. The first time, it nearly killed him. He knew I had to and that he couldn’t come with me, he knew that I was protecting him, but I still felt guilty.
“What are you thinking about?”
“Nothing important” I replied.
“It doesn’t have to be important,” He...

“Alice”? Edward was in the room now, looking at Alice with a concerned expression. He could see the vision happen in her mind.

“What did you see”? I asked. She was afraid, worried, concerned, and sad. What had she seen in her vision?

“Alice, sweetheart”?

“You were right”.

“What”?

“There coming here, for me and Edward. You were right.” I could feel her fear and I wanted to take it all away. All the bad feelings she felt were causing me pain as well. What was I going to do? How was I going to keep my Alice safe?

The whole family was in the room now. Esme and Carlisle were...

I do not own anything
Edward: "When we were in Italy I read Aro's mind, he wanted us to join him, but he knew we never would as long as we had our family."
Jasper: "Well, an army could solve that for him."

Alice never told me that Aro wanted her and Edward. The thought of my angel with that monster made me sick to my stomach. Not just because someone wanted to turn such a sweet girl evil, though that was part of it, but also because someone...

Heyy guys, second chapter please comment.

Jasper’s POV
I really don’t know how this happened; the last 53 years of my life have been the happiest I have ever lived through. I was out hunting with my brothers the same as any other weekend; I had caught a mountain lion and had just finished draining my 2nd deer when my small cell phone vibrated in my back pocket. I pulled it out and flipped it open, I recognised the number instantly, It was my small pixie like wife Alice.
“Hey Alice what’s up” I asked smiling
“Jazz you have to get back to the house. NOW, we have a big problem!”...

Hi guys, sorry this chapter isn't very long I shall try to make the chapters longer, Please comment and Critisism is welcome xxx

It has been 53 years since he left me and in those 53 years my army had gone down hill, they are badly trained and fight among each other often. I am losing wars and losing territory. When I had Jasper I had the best trained army possible and I was unstopable but when he ran away with his little friend peter and that newborn brat charlotte I started to lose. I had made a new vampire about 10 years ago he was 6ft 2 very strong- stronger then any other vampire I have...

Time passed. Jasper and Alice sent letters back and forth, and even though they were halfway around the world from each other, they grew closer.

It had been a long time since Alice had gotten a letter from Jasper. She wasn't too worried. There had been long spaces between letters before. And, he'd promised that he would be safe.

There was a football game that night. Alice didn't really like them, but she was in the band, so she had to go anyways. She stood in front of her mirror, carefully braiding her long hair, and tying a bow on the end of it.

"Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy...

Jasper had to wait what seemed like forever for Alice's next letter to come. He was busy during that time, and although his mind was usually occupied, he could never quite get that pretty face of hers out of his mind. It was the worst when he was trying to fall asleep. He even dreamed about her.

The letter finally arrived after two and a half weeks. He found himself sitting outside his bunks one night, a lantern by his side, with the unopened letter in his hands. For a moment, he just looked down at it, running his fingers over the writing on the outside. He glanced up at the moon for a second,...

There was a knock on Alice's door, and her mother poked her head into the room.

"Ali, a letter came for you." she said, holding it out. Forgetting about Carla, Alice jumped off the bed and raced across the room. She snatched it out of her mom's hand. She just managed to get out a thank you to her mom before she sat back down on her bed.

"Who's it from?" Carla asked curiously, wondering if this had anything to do with the way her friend had been acting lately. Alice opened the envelope hurriedly and yanked the letter out.

"Jasper." She said softly, a smile, a real smile, lighting up her face. This...

It seemed like it had been years since Alice had gotten a letter from Jasper. She went about her life, helping out in the diner, going to school, and putting on a smile, but still no letter came.

"Alice, what's the matter with you these days?" her friend Carla asked her as they walked home from school one day.

"What do you mean? Nothing's wrong." Alice told her, smiling. I miss Jasper. She thought sadly.

"It's like you're in your own world. You don't talk anymore. You never want to do anything anymore, you haven't slept over in a week! Are you sure you're okay?" Carla asked again, putting her...

Jasper didn't get Alice's letter until the day before he was going to leave for overseas. He sat on his bunk and slit it open eagerly.

Dear Jazzy,

Jazzy. I think it suits you. What do you think? You know, I'm not sure how I came up with that one. Eh. Tell me if you like it or not, please?

I don't get a funny story? Well, that's sad...who knows, maybe I WILL ask your mom. So there.

So soon? I'm not going to lie either, I'm scared for you. It seems like your mom had already told you this a hundred or so times but you haven't heard from yet...

Please be careful. Be very, very safe. Don't try any hero...

"Alice?" Alice's mother asked as she walked in the diner after school.

"Hm?" Alice asked, sitting down at one of the stools along the counter. "Hey, Mom, I'm really thirsty, can I have a glass of milk please?" she set down her armful of books next to her. Her mother sighed and set down the milk in front of her, then held up a letter. Alice was confused, and read the return address. It was from Jasper. She couldn't stop the smile that spread across her face.

"Alice, who is this 'Jasper Whitlock?' Why is he writing to you?" her mom asked, sounding slightly concerned. Alice sighed, and took a sip...

"Whitlock." Two letters landed on the table next Jasper. He swallowed quickly, and grabbed the letters.

"Grant." He heard, then the slap of a letter being dropped on the table on his other side. Ryan's hand reached out, faster than Jasper's had been, and snatched it up. His eyes scanned it, and his face lit up.

"It's from Sophie." He told Jasper, setting it back down next to his plate very carefully. "What about you? You got a girl back home?" Jasper smiled to himself, and picked up his letters, reading the return address on the first. That one was from his mom and dad.

"Sorta. I guess." He answered...

Dear Miss Alice,

Well, to tell the truth, I'm not at all sure of what to write.

The food is...bad, to say the least. But, I'll manage. I guess you get used to it after awhile.

I'm going to admit it, I miss home. I miss my mom, and my dad, and you too. I miss having my own room, and hot showers. I miss my mom's food, even though she wasn't the best cook out there. I know I'm not the only person who does. We might not tell each other, but you can tell.

The man who sleeps in the bunk next to me is named Ryan. He's an English teacher from Montana. He's married, and has a baby on the way. I think I'm...

A young man dressed in army uniform wandered into a diner in a town by the bay. He had sandy blonde hair and bright blue eyes, his build was tall and lean. He looked a little nervous. He sat down in a booth, setting his green duffel bag on the seat beside him. His name was Jasper Whitlock, and he'd just turned eighteen a few days ago. Before too long, a girl came to take his order. She was small in size, but not a child, and had a mature look about her that made the fact obvious. She had long black hair, braided down her back and tied with a red bow. Her name was Alice Brandon, and she was...
