Below is a list of my top five favorite episodes from Season One of Marvel's "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.". Created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen; the series stars Clark Gregg.:

TOP FIVE FAVORITE EPISODES OF "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D." SEASON ONE (2013-2014)

1. (1.17) "Turn, Turn, Turn" - All hell breaks loose when the events of "CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER" leads to the downfall of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the exposure of HYDRA moles within their ranks.

2. (1.20) "Nothing Personal" - Former S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill helps Coulson and his team track down fellow agent Skye, who...

TV TROPES ON GRANT WARD AND BOBBI MORSE

I have been aware that a good number of Marvel fans have been in a tizzy over the Grant Ward character from "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.". But I had no idea that this "celebration of toxic masculinity" would lead to some misleading views or "

facts"
about him.

What brought about this article in the first place? It all started with the website known as TV TROPES. While reading the website's page for "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.", it had this to say about Ward and his encounter with S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Bobbi Morse aka Mockingbird in the series' Season Two episode called...

Triplett
Triplett
So as we all found out Agent Triplett is the grandson of a howling commando. Seeing as the only proof that we have is that the only African American in the howling commandos to fight Hydra was Gabe Jones (though there is no proof that he was the only african american) but yeah, That his is grandfather and I find that amazingly cool.

Gabe Jones: In 1943, Jones was captured by HYDRA and placed in a cell with other allied prisoners. When Captain America single-handedly assaulted the facility in which he was prisoner, Jones, along with his companions, broke free and wreaked havoc on the HYDRA soldiers...

"AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.": THE LAST STAND AGAINST MEDIOCRITY

The age of serial drama or adventure is over. It is over. I came to this conclusion after learning the dismal ratings for the last episode of ABC's "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D." called (1.10) "The Bridge". And ironically, my statement is not a criticism directed at the series or its latest episode.

I recently learned that the ratings for "The Bridge" had dropped considerably. Many fans would see this as a sign of the show's not-so-sensational quality. I realize that "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D." is not flawless. There is no such thing as a flawless...

Below is a list of my top five favorite episodes from Season Three of Marvel's "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.". Created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen; the series stars Clark Gregg:

TOP FIVE FAVORITE EPISODES OF "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D." SEASON THREE (2015-2016)

1. (3.10) "Maveth" - In this compelling mid-season finale, both S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Phil Coulson and Agent Leo Fitz deal with Grant Ward and a team of HYDRA agents on the same distant planet that Agent Jemma Simmons had earlier found herself trapped on, after using the Monolith to travel there.

2. (3.17) "The Team" - While...

"AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.: THIS IS LOVE?"

Ever since the middle of Season One of Marvel's "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.", there has been a fandom dedicated to the relationship between two of the series' characters: former hackivist/turned S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Skye (no surname mentioned) and Agent Grant Ward. And despite the amount of attention dedicated to this potential romance on the Internet and in the media, I have found myself wondering if I should support it or not.

The relationship between Skye and Ward began in (1.01) "Pilot", the series' very first episode. Despite being a member of a hacktivist...

Okay. So i haven't written an article on here in forever and the recent events have me reeling. First off, everyone on here knows that Agent Grant Ward is my baby. i love him more than anything, Since episode one I was in love with him. His demeanor, his look, his gracefulness his attitude. To me he could do no wrong but after finding out that Hydra had infiltrated SHIELD and Grant is working for them. I don't know anymore.

First. I have this thing where I don't think he's actually working for Hydra, that maybe he and Coulson planned something when he spoke to him and told him about Garrett....

Once again, I get to see Grant in the frontline and also Melinda. Being one of the most awesome female characters in the marvel universe I got to see her kick major butt in the episode, even without the Staph I think she could have taken that chick.

The episode starts off talking about Asgard. We got to see Asgard as well as the castle. We also got to see Thor, just not his face and I was hoping that maybe this would be the episode where we would see either Thor or maybe even Jane.

This episode was a fallout episode which resulted in the crew cleaning up the effects of what...

Once again Agents of Shield started off amazing. At first I thought that the guys in the red mask were working with the agent until the train where Akela Amadour, The person that Coulson trained is taking them out and robbing places.

This episode had everything that we came to love in the marvel movies and even a little funny words from Skye to Grant. My favorite being 'you're a robot, can you do that?'

It heated up more when it was discovered that Akela was a ticking, that there was a kill switch inside of her. That's where Fitz-Simmons had to step...

Let's start with the very first part. The trucks levitating in the air and then when Agent Mack managed to pull up the screen with his truck, I thought that was the coolest truck ever.

Through out the show, Agent Ward made me fall even more in love with him and his interactions with Skye made me smile. Totally team Ward/Skye.

David Conrad as the bad guy I was not expecting. thought that maybe we were getting a good guy until I learned the truth.

Then Skye, I kept thinking, 'oh no. She's not playing them. She turned on S.H.I.E.L.D.' and of course like any good spy, she played her cards right and got what she needed.

This was by far my favorite episode so far.
"AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D." AND THE DISAPPOINTMENT OF SEASON TWO (2014-2015)

I might as well put my cards on the table. I did not like Season Two of "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.". In fact, I almost despised it. But what I despised even further is this belief among television viewers and critics that Season Two was an improvement over the series’ first season. This told me that today’s society has no real concept of what constitutes good or bad storytelling.

After the Season One finale, (1.22) "Beginning of the End", first aired, I made a prediction that the producers and writers would respond to...

As soon as I saw the first episode, actually as soon as I saw the previews I knew that I would like Special Agent Grant Ward.

He's everything that I've seen in previous shows like this. Smart, dedicated to the job and not really a team player. Everything I love in guys like him.

As the show progress, I'm sure that I will find him even more likable.

The actor, Brett Dalton does an amazing job portraying this character that it's hard not to like him. as with every other character on the show.

So I know I haven't done one these in a while and I thought I would since 1x07 had to be one of my favorites and I know you all know why.

Yes, it was a Grant centered episode and Fitz. My two favorite men. And yes I almost cried when I heard there wouldn't be an extraction and it was basically a suicide mission, t got better when I learned that the Calvary would saving them.

The episode started off nicely, we got to see the hub and what was so special and then lets not forget the other shield agents that made their mark in the Marvel comic universe.

I don't really have much to say on it, it was a little slow for me but other than that it was fine.
MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!!

The show started off like every episode, with the case of the week. This one contained a pyro technic that reminded me a lot of the pyro manic from x-men. and then the girl with the flower dress shows up, Names him, Mentions Captain America and then kidnaps him. Now with that.

I literally screamed when I heard her mention Steve Rogers, Captain America. Because I mean, aren't what they doing with these guys is the same as they did with Steve? the Super serum seems to be what they are using but are trying to perfect it. it was fine when Steve used it so why is it suddenly...

"AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D." SEASON TWO - AT MID-POINT

Ever since the second season of Marvel's "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.", many television viewers and critics have waxed lyrical over their belief over the series' improvement from Season One. And yet . . . the ratings for the show seemed to reflect differently from this view. Regardless of the opinions of others or the ratings, I have my own views about the show's Season Two.

I am going to be blunt. I do not like Season Two of "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.". In fact, it has turned out to be a major disappointment for me. Last season, many fans and critics...

"AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D." (2.01) "Shadows" Commentary

Ohmigod! Did "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D." lose its sense of humor? I realize that the show is supposed to take a darker turn, but they seemed to be overdoing it.

After an hour of viewing of the Season Two premiere, (2.01) "Shadows", I realized that the only flash of real humor came from Antoine "Trip" Triplett. The episode revealed that Jemma Simmons left the agency during hiatus. And we do not know the circumstances that led her to finally leave. This is a scenario that should have happened either in the Season One finale, (1.22) "Beginning of...

TOP FAVORITE EPISODES OF "AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D." SEASON FOUR (2016-2017)

1. (4.18) "No Regrets" - This episode revealed how S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Leo Fitz had become a HYDRA official, while he and his team were trapped in the Framework, a computer simulation created by S.H.I.E.L.D. scientist Holden Radcliffe. Also, S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Jeffrey Mace aka "the Patriot" lead a group of the Resistance to rescue...

I just finished watching the latest “AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.” episode, [i](2.10) “What They Become”[/i[ . . . and I am filled with rage.

CAST MEMBER KILLED

The series just killed off Antoine Triplett, the character portrayed by B.J. Britt. The other black character on the show, Alphonse MacKenzie, is currently some kind of Inhuman zombie. The ironic thing is that both B.J. Britt and Henry Simmons were seriously underused this season, and Mutant Enemy fucked them over even more in the past two episodes.

After tonight’s episode, I realized that I am now through with “AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.”....
