Adventure Time With Finn and Jake Article: My opinion on Fionna and Cake..

Well as you've probably realized this article is about Fionna and Cake and the whole "gender swapped universe".

I hate Fionna, Prince Gumball, Marshall Lee etc. (*everyone gasps). WHY? This is why..

First of all: Why is it necessary? Honestly I don't understand the need for them!
Adventure Time has an incredible amount of weird, wacky, adorable, complex and simply awesome characters.. But instead of giving us a bigger insight on all these characters (like FP or Simon and Marceline) Cartoon Network go and create more, which is totally okay by me.. But the stupid thing is that they don't create new, wonderful, special and original characters. No. They just turn it all around.. making all the male characters female and vise versa.. (who's stupid and unoriginal idea was that?) It's like they HAD to come up with some new marketing project and they took a last minute solution..

Secondly: The whole concept doesn't work for me at all..!
A brave dude saving princesses.. like in all the fairytales.. (the classic approach)
A brave girl saving princes.. (sounds a bit wrong)

IMPORTANT! : Guys I'm no sexist or anything.. It's a free world, I strive for Individuality and Equality.. But it's the Knight saving princesses like in the fairytales which is sort of where I'm coming from.. (hope you understand, I'm not a good explainer neither am I a clear writer..)

And finally: It takes up too much space.. There are as many Fionna and Cake fans as there are Finn and Jake fans! It's taking over the spotlight! I was fine with a one off episode ("Fionna and Cake") as it was as I said a one off.. The second one: completely unnecessary!

Just let it be..

Now I'm probably going to get shot down in the "comment-zone" and I just want you to understand that this is MY opinion you have yours, he should have his and she should have hers..

And as I said before.. I might write a bit un-understandably so please ask if you don't quite get it..

Clue22 Oh lol The original I'm sure was just an weird idea they wanted to bring to life. The second most likely a reaction to its popularity influx.

Newbiehere13 Lol, I'm late. Anyway, Fionna and Cake fit all the things that don't do well on Finn and Jake, such as romance. Finn couldn't have shoved Peebles in face, and Peebles couldn't have arranged to go on a date or be courted, that's why they made someone to do these things in their place, someone who's like them. It made huge impact for the connection they had on the audience "Oh hey, Finn's a girl, that's interesting they made a girl a hero I got to watch this." Feminism man, feminism. Either that or because of Marshall Lee, who turned into a fan favorite afterward, solely for being the genderbent of Marceline (some who like him have good reasons though), so girls can swoon over him. Because they can't do it if she's a girl. You know mainstream. That's all, please don't shoot me.

Raymantlegend First of all I'm swiss so I can be as negative and grey as I want.. Secondly with all the craving and love they get I don't see why someone can simply say they dislike it and find it a rotten idea..

dadadas im with you Ray but i think we shouldnt have said that was stupid. Its kinda disrespect in some aspects. Without that, i think people would be cool with what u say about Fionna & Cake...

Skittygirl Fionna's only fake in Ice King's fantasies. And Cake was only stupid at the part where the Ice King made them in awe of him as if he were awesome but wherein fact he's not.

astigpinoy We can AND we will (if you still have a quark of the fuel called determination). My Science teacher told me that the Time Machine (either FastForward or BackWard) could be invented by Einstein's son (or daughter, if he had kids). Only if. (It could use wireless electricity, THAT GODDAMN EDISON PREVENTED IT!) @BIG34 That's okay, I still have my Imagination Zone to punch things with.

Finnonna: Attraction

In the deepest part of him, a flame was lighted. Before Finn knew it, his heart became ignited with love. Wandering like a butterfly, he aimlessly took flight and found himself landing the palm of Fionna.

Their hands entwined with each other. Their lips pressed against each other. Even if they say their love was wrong, when Fionna was with him, he burns up more.

Finn wanted Fionna to hold him tight; to reassure him that every night would be fine. He wanted Fionna to make him believe, that, no matter what they said, they were in love. They kissed in the dark. Like they would never come apart....

So after watching long preview and footages of the eps. Guess you guys all figure it out right? You know that Flame king will be trying to make FP EVIL in the ep. But what makes it become highly interesting that Finn & FP will also go on adventure to overcome the mystery dungeon...

I wonder if Flame king will do something to separate them so that he can even be a serious threat to Finn, I mean that guy is evil to the touch (killed his own brother to claim the throne) so I don't see any problem that can stop him from causing serious physical damage to Finn, mentally damage to their love...
