I have always liked Theon even though most others seem to hate him! I find him very Tragic and Fascinating!!!!!

Personnaly, i don't like Theon. Don't like his temper, nor his dids.

I don't like Theon either, but if I think about all the things these people did and their reasons, Theon is the one whose reasons I can understand the most. Sansa yes, she was young and stupid, but I remember myself at 12 and 13 and I clearly wasn't THIS stupid. Catelyn misjudged almost everything, she is STUPID. All her bullshit about how she wants to be around her kids how they mean everything for her. SHE left Winterfell and SHE never went back never mind the hundred thousand opportunities there were. Stannis is stupid too, he's blinded by Melisandre. Yes, he was underrated his whole life, but that's no reason for him as a grown man not to realize that Melisandre OVERrates him. Arianne Martell is a hot tempered child who thinks she knows everything better than others. BUT contrary to Catelyn and Sansa (and so far Stannis) she at least comes to the conclusion that she was WRONG. So she's next after Theon.

Actually, Sansa was eleven when the series started. And somewhere between Lady getting killed and her father's beheading I'm pretty sure she realized many of her earlier choices were stupid, just because she doesn't outright say it doesn't mean she never figured it out. And while you might not have been quite so dumb and naive at 12, plenty of people WERE, not to mention that Sansa's kind of been coddled all her life.

In defense of Catelyn, she really did make pretty good choices based off of the information she currently had and she was far more useful to the war effort with Robb than chilling her heels at Winterfell.
