-Do viewers require the reading of the novels prior to film viewing? Or -Does clarity within the narrative retract the need for prior reading?

It matters on the viewers actually, since i saw the movie before i even knew it was a book, and i understood what was going on. If you would like to read the book first then go right ahead.
