While Rosie and Nicholas were away for their music class, The Beatles and the Geordie twins decided to take a walk around Westminster and Piccadilly. As they were walking, several people stopped and stared in amazement at the band. The mop-topped lads themselves were still adjusting to the present times. This was evident when Ringo pointed and said, "Look! There's a giant Ferris wheel. I've never seen one located across Big Ben before!" Scruffy explained, "That's the London Eye. It's actually an observation wheel." Buzzy added, "Riding it allows you to see a panoramic view of the city. Especially when you reach the top. We already rode it once with Rosie and Nicholas." John commented, "That's veddy interesting." "We should ride it with you next time." Said George. "Certainly!" Replied Scruffy. The band was also enthralled by the animated adverts in Piccadilly, and upon entering one of the souvenir shops, were pleasantly surprised when they saw their images and logo in many items. They returned to the university at around the same time Rosie's and Nicholas' class ended, and they met each other again as they arrived back at the dorm. The Beatles and the twins then told them about their enjoyable walk. Rosie commented, "I'm glad you had a great time together." Nicholas asked the band, "Would you like to meet our professor and classmates tomorrow?" Paul replied, "Sure! That would be really nice." "It sure would!" Exclaimed Ringo. This made the friends smile and very excited about introducing the Beatles to their class personally, and the adjustment process for the lads is going quite well.

Today is the start of our first trip to Switzerland and our very first trip to the continent of Europe. Everything is all set. We have our passports with the visas ready, our hotel has been booked, and we have arranged for a car service to take us to the airport. I was very excited for this trip. Our flight path includes a stopover in Singapore, since there are no direct flights going to Switzerland from the Philippines. The airline that we rode is Singapore Airlines. When we touched down in Singapore, we had to stay there overnight as the flight going to Zurich is on the next day. We stayed in a cheap, low quality hotel called Grand Chancellor, which is located in the Little India district. After checking in, we ate dinner outside and did some shopping in a nearby mall. We got ready to sleep right away once we got back to our room, as we had to wake up early for the flight tomorrow...
Many thanks to RocknRollSoul60 for the inspiration.

The following is a countdown of my top five favorite bands. I will be discussing what I like about each of them and some of my favorite songs made by them. So, let's begin.

5. The Bee Gees - Just like the Beatles, I've known about this band since childhood. Their music is very fun, catchy, and infectious. Some of my favorite songs are "Subway", "You Should Be Dancing", "Night Fever", "How Deep Is Your Love", and "Staying Alive".

4. Spandau Ballet - A band that was popular in the early 80's, their music can be best described as upbeat and soulful....

And so we come to the year 2008. I have to say that this was another great year for me and my family. We kicked it off with a second trip to Singapore in February, which is in honor of my parents' tenth wedding anniversary. My sister came with us again in this trip. We had a lot of fun together, as usual. I also finished my Occupational Therapy classes, and the progress report revealed that my behavior and concentration had greatly improved, which means my ADHD is now under control. We were still searching for a condo unit during the first quarter, though. Other trips we had during this year...

The Island Of Sodor, 1976

It was a very foggy morning on the Island Of Sodor. Henry was going as fast as he could with the flying kipper. It was hours behind schedule.

2007 was the beginning of another transitional period in my life. My parents had thought about getting a condo unit in Manila, since we tend to go there more often now. Prior to this, we would usually stay in a hotel overnight when it is already too late to travel back to Laguna or when my father is too tired to drive. We aimed at two convenient locations for our search: Makati City and BGC, or Bonifacio Global City. Also, because of this, we only had one trip during the course of the year. We went back to Indonesia in June. Unfortunately, on the second day of this trip, I contracted tonsillitis....

I was taken to the hospital again by the time 2006 rolled in. This time, it was not because I was sick. It was because I was showing signs of a certain special condition. I would be very hyper and impatient, which drove my parents crazy. I was also quite slow when it comes to finishing my schoolwork. After the doctor allowed me to finish some puzzles to test my concentration, he diagnosed me with ADHD, or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. He then told my parents to try enrolling me in Occupational Therapy classes, as he said that they could be very helpful in aiding my condition. They...

We now enter the year 2004. This year marked our first trip to Singapore, which is one of my favorite countries. It was also during this time when I had just finished my Kindergarten. After my completion, the teacher held a meeting with my parents. She suggested to them that I be homeschooled instead when the next school year comes around. She thought that it would be better that way since I wasn't interested in the group activities, and because I could also work independently with minimum help. At first, they were reluctant about the idea. But after a while, they agreed on it. My mother also...

The first half of 2003 was quite a dark period for me and my family. I started to have difficulty breathing and felt very sick. This caused my parents to become super worried, so they rushed me to a children's hospital. After the doctors examined my present state, they announced to my parents with a somewhat pessimistic tone, "Sir, ma'am, your daughter is suffering from a severe bout of asthma. Unless you find a remedy right away, she might not be able to survive." However, that didn't stop them from trying to cure my illness. After leaving the hospital, we went to a nearby drugstore. There,...

The following year, 2001, my parents became very concerned about me because I had not been talking yet. I would speak in gibberish, but not in full sentences. Knowing that they had to do something about this, they enrolled me in a speech therapy school. To their surprise, after only one class, I was finally speaking properly and almost flawlessly! As a result, they decided to terminate the rest of my enrollment because they knew that I was just going to be bored. They were also quite amazed that I could speak English very fluently, even at a really young age. I also developed an interest in...

2000 was a bittersweet year for me. This period saw the birth of my sister and our moving to a new house. While my mother was pregnant with my sister, she explained to me that I will be having a sibling soon, and that I will be a big sister when she comes out. I was quite excited and nervous at the same time. When the big day, June 13, finally came, my father and I went to the same hospital where I was born to meet my newborn sister. My mother was still sleeping when we arrived. And just like that, I transitioned from being the only child to the eldest child in my family. Realizing that taking...

Before I begin, I would like to thank Peaceandlove67 for inspiring me to write this fan fiction.

If there is one word that I think best describes my childhood, I would have to say that it was colorful. There were some ups and downs, but overall it was a great one. Anyways, this is my story. I was born on December 3, 1998 in a small town called Los Banos, which is located in the province of Laguna, south of Luzon island in the Philippines. My parents were going on a road trip to Manila on the day of my birth. They were just about to enter the national highway when my mother suddenly began to...

The sun rose beneath the surface of the lake on what turned out to be the last day of the camping trip. Madison's aunt and uncle, Alexandria's parents, and Connor's parents got up as soon as they were awoken by the sunlight. While they were eating breakfast, they saw some rangers scouting the area. Madison's aunt asked, "Do you think we should ask them to help us find the children?" "Okay, sure." Madison's uncle replied. The two then approached the rangers. "Excuse us for interrupting your patrol, but can you please help us find our lost children? We've looked everywhere for them in the woods,...
