The first half of 2003 was quite a dark period for me and my family. I started to have difficulty breathing and felt very sick. This caused my parents to become super worried, so they rushed me to a children's hospital. After the doctors examined my present state, they announced to my parents with a somewhat pessimistic tone, "Sir, ma'am, your daughter is suffering from a severe bout of asthma. Unless you find a remedy right away, she might not be able to survive." However, that didn't stop them from trying to cure my illness. After leaving the hospital, we went to a nearby drugstore. There, they asked one of the pharmacists if they have any asthma remidies in stock. The pharmacist then found a nebulizer, which is a device that can improve breathing problems. At first, I felt uncomfortable while they used it on me, but I knew that it was for my own health and survival. As the days passed, my condition started to improve. My father also ordered some imported antibiotics from the internet to help with the healing process. These antibiotics actually tasted pleasant, and they had no problems with me whining about them. After a few months, my asthma finally disappeared, and I haven't had another attack ever since. In September, I started school. Now, this is where my parents, particularly my mother, began to notice that I have a really quirky and unique personality. Even the teacher and my classmates became aware of this. I wasn't interested in the group activities and singing, I'd rather explore the school grounds and browse the library. I even talked with the elderly principal several times! Also, there were some instances where I would blurt out the answer to the question the teacher was asking the students in a round table during quiz time, and my response was actually correct. I was reading the books in the library during this activity. The question that the teacher was asking was, "T for...?" I blurted, "TARANTULA!" This caused the teacher and my classmates to become puzzled and wonder where the voice came from. After a while, the teacher said, "That is the correct answer." Still, they were curious why I wasn't present. Despite my disinterest in the group activities, I did manage to make a friend during my time there. Her name was Patch. She was so sweet. She followed me everywhere I went and smiled at me often. Sadly, this friendship was short-lived. We parted ways after the school year ended the following year. I didn't have any new friends since that time. Anyways, during those days where I would have homework, I was introduced to the computer for the first time. Once, my mother caught me while I was using it because she saw lots of files popping out on the screen. She became very panicky, while I was just chilled. When she asked me what I was doing, I simply told her, "Oh, I'm just checking the memory." Everything eventually went back to normal. I surprised her yet again when one day, she saw me reading the sentences aloud in the more complex stages of my school exercises. She said, "Wow, Jackie! You already know how to read!" It soon made sense to her why I was so bored with the earlier exercises. She was still walking in the letter sounds part, while I jumped to saying sentences aloud. I was also awarded the "Bookworm Kid" certificate during the school's year-end awards banquet.
It was almost noon as the Beatles, Rosie, and Nicholas explored the Flat complex. This had been interesting for them, and they saw both which were occupied and vacant. John once again wrote down some of the details and contact numbers for those on sale. Nicholas said, "Yep. We can consider any of these flats, too." Rosie nodded in agreement while she took photos of them. She then replied, "Yeah, buddy. That's two potential new homes down, one to go!" Ringo said, "Indeed! And since it's exactly lunch time now, shall we return to where we started and grab a bite at one of the restaurants before proceeding to Shepherd's Bush?" Paul replied, "Sure thing, Ritchie. All this walking has made me hungry again as well." George added, "You and me both." Rosie, Nicholas, and John agreed. With that, they returned to their starting point to find a good place to eat during the break.

After walking for ten minutes, the group came across a two-storey cottage that was being put up for sale. Except for the paint that had been chipping off due to age, it seemed to be in good condition overall. Rosie said, "This house has a cute, old-fashioned charm. What do you think, Nicholas?" He replied, "I'd have to agree with that, darling. It's complete with a wide lawn, too, which is great for Timothy to play in." Rosie nodded and remarked, "That's for sure. I think we can consider this as our new home. What it just needs is a new coat of paint." John said, "You have my word there. I just took note of its details along with the contact numbers from the sign." Nicholas replied, "Thanks a lot, mate!" John replied, "Anytime, chap!" Rosie proceeded to take photos of the cottage as well as the lawn. Afterwards, they resumed their walk to check out the flats.

"We're here!", exclaimed Nicholas as the bus made a stop at the Holland Park station. Everyone then got off with the lads leading the way for the search. Rosie said, "It's very calm and peaceful here! Seems like a nice little spot to retreat from the busy city life." Nicholas replied, "I think so, too, love." George added, "And it's quite a good location as well. There's a nearby Tube station, some quirky restaurants and cafes, a bookstore, and even a grocery store." Rosie replied, "Oh, yes. We can see them." Nicholas added, "Just bloody perfect!" George said, "I know!" Ringo added, "I think you'll love it here, mates!" Rosie said, "That's for sure!" She then took some photos of the neighborhood with her camera. Afterwards, the group continued their walk into the residential area.

This is a special request from Kelly. I am fulfilling this request. Without further ado, I'll get started.
We have reached another Valentine's Day and another wonderful year of friendship. There is nothing I value more than friendship, and I am very glad we are friends.
This year will officially make four years since our friendship began. That's as long as high school, but it's a lot more pleasant of an experience. From the day we met, you have always been kind to me. I try my best to do the same.
Thank you for your friendship. Thank you for all the times you've supported me. Thank you for everything, Kelly. Happy Valentine's Day.
Love,
Paul

The group found a burger joint just across the campus and decided to have dinner there. After getting their table and orders, Nicholas placed a hand on Rosie's shoulder and said, "I'd like to thank you again for forgiving me, love. That really means a lot." Rosie replied, "You're very welcome, buddy. You know, if there's anything good which came out from that accident, it's the fact that it just brought us even closer." Nicholas remarked, "You got that right, darling! It makes me happy, too." Rosie responded, "Indeed! And George, I also want to thank you for your kindness and for helping us reconcile." He smiled and replied, "It was me great pleasure, Rosie. What are mates for?" Scruffy added, "Ditto!" The burgers and drinks arrived ten minutes later, and they all started eating.
