5 Seconds of Summer Question

Does anyone think One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer sound the same?

I personally love both bands but I was a Directioner from the beginning and even I can hardly tell them apart if I don't know the song.

However, I agree with you to a point that the songs' theme is all about girls, love or living young.
