Favorites series: Pokemon - Basics

This is the first of my Favorites series. In this series I will tell you my favorites for all kinds of stuff. Things from video games, movies and other things. This is a great way for you to learn more about me. I will start with video games and I am starting with Pokemon because that is what people voted for in my poll. I will start with basic stuff about Pokemon, characters, anime, games and more. I will also tell you why. If there is something else that you believe falls into this category that you would like to know about let me know in a comment and I will edit this article.

- Anime generation - Pokemon Diamond and Pearl generation - I am doing this based on the english one because I grew up with this one and don't watch the japanese version. I love this one because of all of the characters Ash meets, my favorite traveling companion is in this one, there are so many great episodes and it based on the games that are for my favorite region.

- Region and generation - Sinnoh and Generation 4 - I love this region and generation because I love more Pokemon from this region then any other, there are more legendary Pokemon in this region then anyother and I love the theme of space and time for the two main legendary Pokemon.

- Game - Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs - I love this one because although I have not played the game my self I have seen one of my siblings play it and I found it quite interesting. I love how you can draw signs to summond certain Pokemon and I can't believe you can do this for some legendary Pokemon. I mean how cool is that. Plus I love the male ranger for this game in the anime.

- Pokemon - Pikachu, Lucario, Arceus and Reshiram - Yes I can't choose just one, so I will tell you why I like each one.
- Pikachu - It's not because I am like everyone else and following the crowd, but the fact that Ash has shown me how powerful a Pikachu can be.
- Lucario - It would probably be because of it's aura. This makes Lucario unique in the fact that it can sense another person or Pokemon's aura. This can help it find it's trainer or check it's surronding. Basically Lucario would make a good spy and that could be a bad thing or a good thing.
- Arceus - It's the said creator of the entire Pokemon universe, so of course I love it. I also love it because of the fact that it can be any type. I also like it's design.
- Reshiram - I have recently said that Reshiram is one of my favorites. I like Reshiram for a lot of reasons. It's design it's theme which is truth, if I am right, it's a dragon/fire Pokemon, and it's connect with N.

- Character - N - I have said lots about why I love N, but for those of you who don't know I will tell you two reason why. One they created a back story for him and they hadn't really done this for the other villian leaders and this made him more special to me because they took time to do that. Two the personality he has is like none I have seen in a Pokemon character and I love it.

- Pokemon type - Fire and fighting - I tend to pick the fire starter. One of my favorite Pokemon is fighting/steel. I just find fighting Pokemon amazing.

- Pokemon website - Bulbapedia - I get all of my Pokemon info from them because they seem to know things before Pokemon.com does and that is big. They are the reason why I found another site where I can get pictures for almost every moment in any Pokemon episode that has aired in Japan

- Media (meaning games, anime, trading cards, manga and that type of stuff) - Anime - The anime is the reason I got introduced to the Pokemon universe. I can tell you the story of how I got introduced sometime if you would like. The point is I own alot to the anime and I always look forward to the anime more then the games when a new generation for Pokemon comes out. (I am talking about the english dub version.)

I would love to hear. Let me know what you would like me to do next week for my favorites. We are sticking to Pokemon, so anything related to Pokemon. 1PhantomRfan That is too bad. At least some one does. amazon.com, ebay.com and a place called usaopoly.com. Try those and see if you can't find it.

ghinwa i also want to play with him, but my mini chess has some lost pieces, and his chess board is big. i'll only look around in these sites. my other best friend knows a place in my country that sells all sorts of monopoly, i forgot where she told me, but i'll ask her again :P

ghinwa have you played monopoly? just curious.

1PhantomRfan Yes I have and ever since I was little. We would even make up rules with my cousins.

ghinwa i've recently played it with my best friend and her sibling. it's so much fun, i like it cause it never ends.

1PhantomRfan That sounds great. Glad you had fun. That is so true and you can be playing that game for hours.

ghinwa yeah, but after many hours later, everyone got bored and my best friend's sibling flipped the board. and that's how we discovered a way to finish the game :P

1PhantomRfan Really that sounds really funny and when that happens to me we just count the money and see who has won. That is a very good way to finnish the game.

ghinwa yes it was, her sibling is really funny when she gets bankrupt. but my best friend didn't like it when she flipped the board. hey, i never thought about that.

1PhantomRfan I see. Yeah that doesn't sound good. Yeah I do things the boring ways sometime.

ghinwa oh yeah, forgot to mention that each one's money got mixed and we never knew who won, but i think my best friend did cause she had so many buildings.

1PhantomRfan I understand and sorry that happened, but at least you all had fun. That is what counts.

ghinwa actually, that was very funny cause we didn't notice the money getting mixed :P

ghinwa i like Monopoly but i mostly love chess!! it's been a while since i played it, but i still remember the methods i use to confuse people :P

1PhantomRfan That is awesome that you like both games. I wonder what these methods are.

ghinwa have you ever played snakes and ladders? i played it a lot :P i love board games :D

1PhantomRfan I love that game. Yes I have. Used to play it when I was a kid. I also used to play a computer that was for that board game. I like them some. Then you would love my roomate. She is always trying to get me to play board games and get away from my computer. I told her good luck with that.

ghinwa playing it on the computer is not as fun as playing it, you know, on a board. haha, that's funny. she's going to have to try so hard in order to accomplish that. i love board games, well only the ones i played, but i would never avoid using the laptop :P

1PhantomRfan I understand, but I played it both ways. She is indeed and like I said good luck with that one because I love being on my computer. I know it's just part of who we are. No one can take that away from us.

ghinwa i never played it on the computer. i don't think she can. the only way she could do that is to hide your laptop somewhere, but that would be rude :P that's true.

1PhantomRfan I understand and yes she wouldn't do that because she would have to get the key to the lock that is on my laptop case and the key is always with me, so there is no way she will be able to.

ghinwa okay, so the chances of her convincing you to avoid using the laptop is zero :P

1PhantomRfan Exaclty!!!!! Correct!!!! ^_^ ^_^ Because if I am not on my laptop at some point in the day then there is something wrong with me. Plus I won't be able to respond back to your comments and other peoples comments, but mostly your comments. I mean my roomate is great, but I don't want her to keep me away from a friend. She could become a good friend at point point, but for now she is just my roomate, but a very nice one.
